Why Flatbed Towing Matters
A flatbed tow truck loads your vehicle fully onto the bed of the truck. All four wheels are off the road. Nothing drags, nothing rolls, nothing rubs. For some vehicles, this is the only safe way to tow.
If you've got an AWD, a lowered car, a luxury or exotic, an electric vehicle, or a vehicle with damage to the wheels or suspension, you want a flatbed every time.
Vehicles That Need a Flatbed
- AWD and 4WD vehicles (Subaru, Audi quattro, Tesla, BMW xDrive, Jeep 4x4, etc.)
- Lowered cars, sports cars, exotics (Corvette, Porsche, lowered Civic, etc.)
- Electric vehicles (Tesla, EV6, Mach-E, etc.)
- Luxury vehicles where finish protection matters
- Classic and collector cars
- Vehicles with flat tires, missing wheels, or suspension damage
- Cars after a serious accident
- Long-distance transport (cleaner ride than wheel-lift)
How Our Flatbed Tow Works
- Driver arrives, assesses your vehicle and access
- The flatbed tilts down to ground level with a gentle approach angle
- We winch or drive your vehicle up onto the bed
- Vehicle is strapped down at the wheels — no body damage
- Bed levels out and we transport it wherever you need to go

Flatbed Towing FAQs
- Why use a flatbed instead of a regular tow truck?
- A flatbed lifts all four wheels off the ground. Zero drivetrain wear, no risk to AWD or 4WD systems, and no scraping for low-clearance vehicles. Safest way to move a vehicle.
- Do I need a flatbed for an AWD vehicle?
- Yes. Most AWD/4WD vehicles must be towed on a flatbed. Towing with wheels on the ground can damage the transfer case, differential, and transmission.
- Can you tow a lowered or sports car?
- Yes. Our flatbeds have low-angle approach ramps that work without scraping the front bumper or splitter.
- Is flatbed towing more expensive?
- It's typically a bit more than a standard tow, but far cheaper than fixing transmission damage from the wrong kind of tow. We'll quote you the full price up front.
